We just received word that the landlord has hit a few snags which will delay our move to Dublin. As you can see from the attached pictures the warehouse space , bathrooms and office area’s have been gutted. The South end of the building is going to house GoKart Racer (75,000 SQ FT), the North end of the building is going to house the Alameda Fire Department (70,000 SQ FT) training and repair yard, and San Ramon Sports (East Bay Indoor Sports) will occupy 55,000 SQ FT between them. The Alameda Fire Department requires the roof to be raised to 30 feet in one section of their space to fit the Fire Trucks while they are in for repair. The area that requires the raised roof shares a dividing wall with our space. The engineering already completed on our column movement had to be redone to include the new requirement of the Fire Department. Long story short the engineering has not been approved by the Fire Department or the City of Dublin so we have to sit and wait. Lucky for us we still have our current location in San Ramon to offer leagues for Adults and Youth until the new location is completed which is now scheduled for the summer of 2010. We are very disappointed by the delay and will continue to update this blog as we receive news from our Landlord and the City of Dublin.

Welcome to East Bay Indoor Sports. The City Of Dublin approved our USE PREMIT on June 29th. City staff was very helpful and made the process as painless as possible. The Mayor attended the approval hearing and spoke in favor of our operation. We are excited to be a part of the Dublin business community. The new location will be housed in a 200,000 Sq. foot building at 6400 Sierra Court. We will occupy 55,000 Sq. Feet and have 3 Indoor Fields, 3 Batting Cages, 2 Party Rooms, 2 Meeting Rooms, Larger Snack Bar, on site sports specific training, a small amount of rental space and best of all, AIR CONDITIONED, .

Now begins the hard part. In order to fit our arenas in the building we will have to move 1/2 of the columns holding up the roof, YIKES! All the engineering is complete and the work is scheduled to begin in August. While this is being completed, we will begin remodeling our bathrooms, office space, party rooms, adding our new entry ways, roll up doors and building our new snack Bar/Check-in Location. Next we will move our batting cages, (really just the frames as we will purchase all new nets, tarps, retrieval system and pitching machines), from the San Ramon location and start the installation of our new Soccer Arenas. (anyone in the market for 2 used arenas?) We hope to have all the remodeling completed by November. We will keep you up to date with pictures of our progress and updates on our sign up dates.
